lyrics
Morning will come but the sun won’t rise
Mankind has come to its destined demise
It could have looked ahead, should have realized
When man takes a step ahead, its mind takes a step behind
Awaken now to buildings crashing down
Nuclear death fear the mushroom cloud
Cosmic waste blackens the sun
Defend yourself a new dark age has come
Hear the sounds, the cries of dying men
Un-human voice is breaking in
Victims of the world’s ignorance
Down the slope back to the primitive
This is mankind’s destiny, total chaos and anarchy
The way it was always meant to be
Rule of man, structure is vanity
It’s what they all failed to realize, nothing lasts forever
So build your towers into the sky, ‘because ill be laughing when they fall again
I need to leave this place if I stay I know ill surely die
Faceless wretch, spawn of mutilation
Kill it now, I must see the light
Poison gas pollutes the sky radiation burns my eyes
I know the sun is gone today but I know that the moon will rise

Not only are these guys rad buds but they are also one of Vancouvers best. This self titled EP is full of tasty guitar noodles, crushing heaviness, scary vocals, and is delivered with tight precision. BUSHWHACKER
Another west coast ripper, Vancouver's Black Wizard always delivers the tastiest tunes. Recently signed to Listenable records they released "New Waste". Do your brain a favour and give it a listen. BUSHWHACKER

With all respect due to Nick DiSalvo, who is incredibly talented, the proggy vocals are not what I love the most with Elder. What I love the most, I'll admit, is the incredible synthy, krauty goodness, from the track Sonntag on the previous album to the wonderful delving LP Hirschbrunnen. I think these instrumental Sessions were a major step in that direction, and I love them dearly for it. Coraxio

An eclectic but incredibly well-integrated blend of traditional death metal, melodeath, black metal, progressive, and even a bit of folk (with the added bonus of audible and tasty bass guitar). The album has a consistent, pulverizing momentum punctuated by the rare acoustic passage or catchy chorus/refrain. Overall an unbelievably mature first offering from an up-and-coming band to watch.
