lyrics
I am this thing, walking, breathing, feeling this world around me
I don’t know where I came from, all I can do is trust in what I have been told
The more I realize the less I understand
This world and the power I, the power I hold in my hands
The more I know, the less I can comprehend
The paradoxes and dreams, spinning around my head
The more I realize the less I understand
This world and the power I, I hold in my hands
Seeing things move out of place
Reality is far away
Euphoria upon my face
I’ve realized myself today
I will rise
Get up off the ground
And realize
This is who I am now
This world exist
Whether I like it or not
It’s for the trip
That I am living this life

Not only are these guys rad buds but they are also one of Vancouvers best. This self titled EP is full of tasty guitar noodles, crushing heaviness, scary vocals, and is delivered with tight precision. BUSHWHACKER
Another west coast ripper, Vancouver's Black Wizard always delivers the tastiest tunes. Recently signed to Listenable records they released "New Waste". Do your brain a favour and give it a listen. BUSHWHACKER
With all respect due to Nick DiSalvo, who is incredibly talented, the proggy vocals are not what I love the most with Elder. What I love the most, I'll admit, is the incredible synthy, krauty goodness, from the track Sonntag on the previous album to the wonderful delving LP Hirschbrunnen. I think these instrumental Sessions were a major step in that direction, and I love them dearly for it. Coraxio
An eclectic but incredibly well-integrated blend of traditional death metal, melodeath, black metal, progressive, and even a bit of folk (with the added bonus of audible and tasty bass guitar). The album has a consistent, pulverizing momentum punctuated by the rare acoustic passage or catchy chorus/refrain. Overall an unbelievably mature first offering from an up-and-coming band to watch.
